10 Tips for new moms- My learnings from baby Gia

SOOO... These past few weeks have been great with baby Gia! I'm so blessed to have such an amazing little girl ;) I want to share a few things I have learned about being a mom... Please feel free to add comments to the tips!

1. Once your baby starts getting on a schedule prepare their bottle before they wake up to avoid hearing them scream at the top of their lungs FOR NO REASON because they are hungry lol
2. To create a sleeping schedule put them in the day light during the day and make sure it's dark at night when they sleep so they start to learn day is for being awake night is for sleeping...
3. Read and sing to them when you want them to go to sleep so they can learn that's their que it's time to go to bed.
4. When giving a bath make sure the water is warm and fill up the baby bath just enough so the baby can fill warm water on their back so they don't freeze and scream while bathing them; Gia LOVES baths and does so good!
5. Right before they go to sleep in the evening make sure you prepare about 3-4 bottles so you're not making bottles in the middle of the night your just heating them up; to heat up a bottle either get a bottle warmer or use a pot and heat up water and stick bottle in the pot. (Check the milk before feeding!!)
6. If you have a fast pace and loud lifestyle make sure your baby is around that environment so you won't have to tell everyone to HUSH when the baby is sleeping... Gia can sleep through ANYTHING! lol
7. Always track when your baby eats so you can get ready to prepare their bottles like I said above; this will help to get everyone on their new babies schedule
8. Take pictures LOTS OF PICTURES and videos! Gia is only three weeks old and is already out grown her NB clothes!! She is so long she is wearing 3 month old clothes now they grow so fast!
9. Stock up on formula if you're not breast feeding; diapers; and wipes I promise you will thank me later! You don't want to leave your house for anything during your first few weeks!
10. Last but not least MOM PAMPER YOUR SELF of you will go crazy! hahaha
